Eight women sit in prison, and are forced to confront their demons.
Within the guarded prison walls these women shine a light on teenage pregnancy, infedelity, coercion, sexual assualt, homophobia, and gangsterism.
This piece begins as apolitical narrative and continues as a call for empowerment and protection of women. The spine chilling stories are delivered with ease accompanied by a cappella songs, discerning use of sound, and a strong all female cast. The narratives will resonate with you well beyond stage.
