It follows her journey to become a world class athlete, while being forced to prove to the world who she really is, including the trauma and heartache when, at the very top of her game, it was all taken away from her. Besides all the negativity thrown in her path, she finds her voice by taking a firm stand against injustice and discrimination in sport.

This one-hander is written and directed by award-winning playwright, Ayanda Ka Nobakabonwa, as a tribute to Mokgadi Caster Semenya. Caster is portrayed by talented newcomer, Asive Cetywayo, with the extraordinary assistance of shadow theatre by Lwandle Arts Academy.
