SIREN: ECHOES OF THE WATER is a gripping fusion of theatre and physical theatre combined, plunging audiences into the raw, shifting world where water becomes both a mirror and a force. The production is set in a space alive with songs of different mother tongues, movement, and it unravels the human condition through the language of the body. It offers an exploration of resilience and surrender.
As the siren's call ripples through the space, SIREN: ECHOES OF THE WATER, invites the audience to witness the tension between fragility and force. At its core, the production portrays memory carried in the body, especially the memories of those who lived before us and those who will live after us and the natural world. The “Siren” is not just a character but a force: she/he is the voice of water, of history, of those who were silenced and submerged. Through movement, the performers become both human and elemental, blurring the line between person and ocean.
