About the Artists
Waves BC is a music producer and artist from Johannesburg’s East Rand, born on 24 June 1995. He has a background in audio engineering, plays guitar, and has received basic keyboard training.
His music draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, reflecting a deep passion for crafting beats and engineering mixes that shine with clarity. He approaches every aspect of production with care and creativity, resulting in a raw, distinctive sound that sets him apart. Waves BC primarily produces contemporary hip-hop, trap, and R&B, with subtle elements of amapiano.
He has had the privilege of working on the South African TV show Tembisa Jazz Fest, which featured live performances by artists such as Mpho Sebina, Sjava, and others. The show premiered on DStv’s Mzansi Magic Music channel from 6 August 2022 to October 2023.
In 2023, he launched a solo part-time initiative titled The Music Creators, inspired by his passion for the arts. The project aims to cultivate excellence among music creators by helping them refine their craft and align their work with industry standards.
One of his greatest strengths is his ability to collaborate with other creatives, consistently helping artists bring out their best work.
