IZIQALEKISO ZOBOMI NOKUVUKA KWABAFILEYO is a powerful dance and theatre production performed by Versatile Youth Company from Cape Town, South Africa.
The production blends African and Afro-Fusion Contemporary dance with theatrical elements to tell a story of struggle and resilience. The plot explores the daily curses and challenges people face, both internal and external and focuses on themes of resurrection, and spiritual awakening, and follows a journey towards triumph.

About the Artists
Mthetheleli Dlakavu | Artistic Manager & Resident Choreographer
Mthetheleli Dlakavu did his dance training under the artistic director Sbonakaliso Ndaba of Indoni Dance Arts and Leadership Academy in 2014. He is a professional dancer, choreographer, dance instructor, yoga Vinyasa accredited instructor, and a stunt man for movies. Over the last 8 years, he has performed in many places including Cape Town, Durban, as well as abroad in China, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Mthetheleli is multi-talented and capable of doing other things incuding
Graphic Designing, Music Editing and Publicity. He loves collaborating with others and is a valuable addition to any team. Currently he is a freelancer, and his vision is to work with many artists and exchange lot of ideas in the field of art. He's one of the dance members of Mzantsi United Team, as well as the Marketing and Advertising Manager. He is working with Zama Dance School which based in Gugulethu. He's also working with SboNdaba Dance as an outreach teacher at Atlantis (Saxonsea) during the week teaching the Elevation Dance Crew.
