Meds, the walker, a tap left running, dropping the tea cup - the closing chapter draws closer as the aging parent drifts further...
It is often difficult to adjust to the realities of ageing parents, but this chapter in one's life is unavoidable. Ontneem/Bereft/Uyoluphala explores the difficulties of watching them age. It is tough seeing a parent need help more and more. It is a bittersweet knowing that brings us closer. Through physical theatre we treasure life knowing that time is precious.
