Mqambi weNyembezi Vuka
Isiba Arts Collective
Theatre / St Andrew's Hall

Mqambi weNyembezi Vuka is a poignant exploration of the profound impact of absent fathers on the lives of young men. Through a series of interconnected vignettes, the production delves into the challenges faced by individuals navigating the transition from boyhood to manhood without the guidance and support of a paternal figure.

The play examines themes of identity, belonging, and the search for meaning in the absence of a traditional father-son relationship. Through powerful storytelling and compelling performances, Mqambi weNyembezi Vuka offers a thought-provoking reflection on the enduring influence of family dynamics and the universal human longing for connection.
