Dikgafela is a traditional dance theatre production that includes a spiritual dance called dihosana. This is a celebration that takes place in the royal house of the Batswana Kingdom after the the inauguration of a new king. Men and women dress in their traditional attire, and enter the royal kraal with gifts for the king, while young boys and girls dance setapa and tsutsube.

This dance piece involves an invitation to the ancestors through trance and is a rain making dance.
