"The Birth", originally a title for a composition on his debut album "Imagine Nation", has since been broadened into a larger work/s, including collaborations with musicians in the US, Europe and South Africa.
About the Artists
South African born recording artist Darren English is a celebrated, award-winning multi-instrumentalist, visual artist and designer.
A graduate of the National Arts Festival’s National Youth Jazz Festival, he is the winner of the 2023 Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Jazz. His other accolades include but are not limited to:
