INGCAMBHU
Dance & Physical Theatre / Princess Alice

Ingcambhu is about the power that nature has no matter what religion or belief we choose.

If there's an ancestor in the family who used to do Xhosa traditional ceremonies, but now, that knowledge is lost it can result in the someone in the 4th or 5th generation of the family getting ill. This illness can be mental, spiritual or physical but when they seek medical help the doctors and specialists won't find anything wrong. That is because there's a specific calling the child needs to accept. The calling is accepting who you are and the gift of being a creative. Once we accept the gifts, it feels like some weight has been taken of our shoulders.
