As the Mountain Stood Still
Dance & Physical Theatre

It is believed that mountains hold answers, are vantage points for inevitable battles and stand as un/conquerable metaphors in the landscape of the soul.

"As the Mountain Stood Still" follows the narrative of the hero's quest in search of an answer. With question in tow, his journey is interrupted, he flatlines and awakens, but is the answer a fulfillment of his search or is there more to discover as the Mountain stands still?

This project is practice-led research towards the Certified Movement Analyst (CMA) course by the Laban Institute of Movement Studies (LIMS) in which Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) is applied to the editing of screendance.
