ABOUT THE WRITER, PERFORMER AND DIRECTOR: Makhubalo Ikaneng
Makhubalo Khuba Ikaneng, also known as Makhubalo The Storyteller, is a versatile creative professional with extensive experience in various media forms.

He has directed 12 TV shows for SABC, written and directed 8 films for eTV, produced 13 stage shows, and created 3 podcasts. Additionally, Makhubalo has published 5 books and leads the Young Authors Book Initiative (YABI), empowering learners by teaching writing skills and offering publishing opportunities. He has also created the Vukani Bafana project, helping young men express themselves and reflect on challenges through educational media.
A notable achievement is Makhubalo's acclaimed play "Be A Better Dog," captivating audiences at the United Solo Festival in New York in 2018. This showcased his exceptional writing abilities on an international platform. Makhubalo has received the prestigious "Time of The Writer Festival Literature Champion Award for 2022," acknowledging his significant impact on literature and storytelling.
