About the Artists
Thato Nkwe
Along with being the Founder and Artistic Director of a Pretoria-based contemporary dance company called Willside Dance Company, Thato Nkwe is a choreographer, dance educator, and music composer. After attaining his Diploma in Dance from Tshwane University of Technology, he worked extensively as a performer in numerous South African dance productions, and internationally in the theatre production of The Lion King fulfilling both a principal and an ensemble role. As an educator, he has taught classes at institutions and companies such as Joburg Ballet, Oakfields College, HPDE, and also led an internal dance workshop at Hong Kong Disneyland, among other occasions. As a choreographer, he produced a Naledi Theatre Award Nominated solo contemporary dance production titled DEMI-SAPIEN which he wrote, choreographed, directed, composed the score/music for, and performed.
Felicia Seretlo
Felicia's career in the performing arts industry spans over seven years, during which she has played a pivotal role in numerous theatrical productions and events. Her organizational skills and technical proficiency have made her a sought-after talent behind the scenes. Her ability to manage all aspects of production coordination, from meticulous pre-production planning to flawless live performance execution, has earned her acclaim and respect in the industry. One of Felicia's remarkable achievements is her five-year tenure in the education sector. She has served as a dedicated tutor and part-time lecturer in stage technology and lighting. Her commitment to nurturing the talents of aspiring theatre professionals is evident in her teaching methods and her ability to inspire students to reach their fullest potential. She recently completed her Master of Technology (MTech) in Performing Arts, a significant milestone that further honed her technical skills and understanding of the intricacies of theatrical productions. Her academic journey served as the foundation upon which she would build her illustrious career.
Mbuso Gamede
Mbuso Gamede is a Johannesburg-based filmmaker. Along with attaining his Film and Television Production Diploma from Tshwane University of Technology, he has experience working as a camera operator at Bozzi Media, and a production assistant at Forum Films.
Bongani Dingiswayo
Bongani Mfundo Dingiswayo is a Johannesburg-based aspiring film producer, director, and cinematographer. In his 1st of Year of Studying Motion Picture Production at the Tshwane University of Technology, he won best Achievement in 1st Year Producing and also produced the 1st Year Best Film. Bongani is a hardworking individual who's always looking to grow, but most importantly, he helps those around him to be better.
Hlamulo Rammphela
Hlamulo Rammphela is a Soweto-born aspiring film director. Currently, he is enrolled as a second year Motion Picture Production student at Tshwane University of Technology Arts Campus. His achievements as a student include obtaining the Best 1st Year Film Award and obtaining the Best Academic Award in his 1st year.
