In the bustling music community of Gqeberha and Nelson Mandela University, Zamani found herself immersed in the pulsating rhythms of AfroGroove, collaborating with artists like Dizu Laatjies to explore new horizons in music.
Fueling her passion for innovation, Zamani co-founded Mo’Jazrae, a band that transcended genre boundaries, allowing her to express herself freely through music. Beyond the stage, she co-founded ListenLiveAfrika, a platform fostering collaboration between visual arts and music.
Zamani’s presence in the industry continues to grow, gracing stages with her heartfelt performances. With each melody she weaves, Zamani uplifts, heals, and inspires, leaving an indelible mark on the world of music and beyond.
This year she had the privilege to have a residency at Nirox Foundation with 6 South Afrikan and 7 Danish artist at the Amagroove Songwriting retreat by One Groove Foundation in partnership with Ricky Rick Foundation and the Danish copywriting commission.
