The Other Gender
Theatre / Glennie Hall

Gender and sexuality are the basis of an argument when a father dies and leaves everything to his last born son. The siblings fight for their father's wealth as each of them tries to overthrow the dead man's wish by challenging his will. Everyone is trying hard to define themselves and justify their sexual orientation as not a definition of their gender.

Issues faced by LGBTQ+ people are explored in the play, including how society secretly and openly perceives the LGBTQ+ community. The other gender deals with emotions encountered when parents find out and children come out in the modern day.
