This satirical social commentary focuses on the state of post Apartheid South Africa as experienced by black South Africans.
Written as a piece of new age protest theatre, SONDA tackles themes of unemployment, poor service delivery, high crime rates, a poor education system, high rates of poverty, the appointment of incompetent public servants and empty promises. This piece gives a voice to the voiceless.
The production includes physical comedy, miming and clowning to entertain the audience while delivering its message. SONDA is a show for everyone living in South Africa, no matter your race or age. It is a story for South Africans about South Africans.
