INSINGIZI
Theatre / Nombulelo

Immersed in the rich cultural tapestry of amahubo and the vibrant rhythms of Zulu dance, this tale unfolds within a community plagued by poverty and the scourge of corruption among its leaders.

United by a common resolve, the community transforms into Insingizi, embodying the spirit of the hornbill that heralds the arrival of thunderstorms with its resounding song. Through arduous struggles, they seek justice, particularly in reclaiming rightful ownership of their RDP houses. Against a backdrop of hunger, poverty, inadequate service delivery, and rampant crime, this narrative delves deep into the existential challenges faced by modern civilians.
