Little Giants

Established in 1999 by Ezra Ngcukana and George Werner, the Little Giants has nurtured over 300 youth jazz musicians from the Cape Flats, many of whom have become established professionals such as Sisonke Xonti and Shaun Johannes. The band has over the years accompanied legends like Winston Mankunku and Robbie Jansen, while performing locally and internationally. They've released albums like ‘Ungalibali’ (2006) and ‘Songs of our Father’ (2022) and celebrate their 25th anniversary this year.
