


Overwhelmed by constant abuses from her husband, one day Bontle took off the ring and walked out of the house to go rethink the worth of her marriage. She walks into the bar and ordered a drink. While in the misery of her own head, a deaf man offers her a drink and his company. The next thing Bontle finds herself waking up the next day next to a deaf stranger. In her shame, she storms out of the guest house and never to look back. On her arrival at home, her husband, Vuyo, apologises for treating her bad. They promised each other to never speak about the past and to start a new future.

About the Artists
Director and Actor: Tshepo Gaborone
Tshepo Gaborone is an experienced theatre practitioner had received his formal training at the Market Theatre Laboratory; this has earned him a lot of national and international experience.
With his acquired experience he is in a better position to raise the standard of theatre in the province (Northern Cape). Having had work with different directors and theatre companies, internationally, national and local in directing, writing and acting for the past 30 years he now understand the environment in which he is working from in terms of the world of arts.Vuyo: Played by Tshepo Gaborone
Bontle: Played By Pulane Jantjies
Pulane Jantjies started her living career at a very young age. This marked the begging of her acting career at sakha I sizwe drama department in 1994 at the age of 15. Under the directorship of Fitzgerald Goeiman she acquired a lot of experience in most of his productions. She appeared in many local stage production and educational programs provincial including competitions she took part in most of his productions of which this production granted her the opportunity to perform in at national festivals like vitae and zwakala art festival and at the market theatre laboratory in the following • I’ll remember you by fitzgerld goeiman 1996 • Dumping side by fitzgeld goieman 1997 • Mmabana calabash ill remember you 1998 One of her highlights was performing in a production called nkonyeni high written by Aubrey sekhabi directed by kholofelo kola and Paul grootboom, which was the first production from the Northern Cape, which took part at the 52 season development program at the state theatre. In 2005 she went to school to acquire more skills and knowledge at market theatre laboratory for two years she than performed many production as part of her practicals.

Robert More who's currently a Grade 9 Deaf Learner at Retlameleng Special School , currently being Trained by her mother and mentored by Tshepo Gaborone he is an exceptional actor
Sipho: Played by Abby Tembu
Mr Abby Tembu is a Grade 6- 12 Teacher at Retlameleng special school is a very passionate artist and a community builder with the ability to leave the audience wanting more.
