Achiba Don
The Black Power Station

Achiba Don has shared the stage with South African musical royalty, including Ismael, Morafe, Pitch Black Afro, Prokid, the late Jabu Khanyile, Lebo Mathosa, and HHP. Choosing to go solo in 2008, he represented Graveside (Dobsonville) as a semi-finalist in the 'Word on the Street' competition. His journey continued in 2011 with a performance at 'Back to the City' alongside Federation.

A turning point came in 2016 when Achiba Don began collaborating with the legendary Blondie Makhene. Makhene not only recognized his talent but also bestowed upon him his current stage name. This partnership helped shape Achiba Don's unique sound - a captivating blend of Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, and an evolution of Kwaito known as Kwevo.
