About the Artists

Welcome one and all to CharlieQuinn's bio!

So what would you like to know?

I started off my entertainment career as a drummer (I still do this by the way!) but I was always intrigued by the circus and astonishing people so it made sense that the next logical move would be in that direction.
I was dabbling in the art of juggling, learning an array of mind-boggling moves to impress anyone who would watch:

  • Mill's Mess
  • 3 Ball Shower
  • Cascade Patterns

After a while, I realised I was looking for more ... I wanted to keep people shocked and amused for longer periods of time. This is when CharlieQuinn truly came to the fore. 12 years ago, I took my first magic class (yes, it's as secret and underground as you'd ever expect - and no, I can't share the secret location with you) *wink*. All you need to know is that it started me off on a roller-coaster ride of magic. I dabbled in all types of sleight-of-hand and mentalism until I found my own "magic" so to speak. This includes cards, coins, cubes and close-up magic (Let's call it CharlieQuinn's 4 C's!)

Over the past 12 years I have performed at various events from children's parties to formal Christmas parties, as well as joined the stage with some of my favourite magicians: Brendon Peel, Li Lau, Colin Underwood, and Wolflock (to name but a few). The thing you need to know is that you'll never find me without my bag of tricks. I'm always ready to create a magical moment. It's my passion - and I'll never stop for as long as people are amazed (this should keep me going for quite some time then).

Oh, did I mention I'm also a speed cuber?
