Belinda de Villiers is an accomplished solo and ensemble pianist, having performed at numerous venues in the country. In this concert series, she will entertain you with Beethoven's 'Waldstein' Piano Sonata, Debussy's Feux d'Artifice, and Alexander Johnson's Two Jazz Impromptus.
About the Artists
Belinda de Villiers has peformed as a soloist in Gqeberha, Cape Town and Johannesburg, including performances with the Rand Symphony Orchestra and the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra. She is also an accomplished ensemble pianist and accompanist, and is comfortable with genres ranging from Classical to Jazz to Contemporary Pop. She obtained her MMus degree Cum Laude from the University of Pretoria, and is currently registered for her PhD in Music Performance at Rhodes University.
