


A 65 year old Naniwe Luvalo is dealing with a collapsing family structure in her home following the mysterious death of her husband on the 27th April 1994.
They are squatters on the Engelbert's farm. When Naniwe gets a letter, she misunderstands what it is, thinking it is a 'land letter'. Her hopes are dashed when she is told that she actually is being evicted. On top of that, her son, Mbuyiseli, is a psychopath who has been harbouring distasteful secrets about the farm.

About the Artists
Nompumezo Buzani
Mrs Nompumezo Buzani is a retired professional nurse, a playwright who has produced numerous theatre shows, and is a published author, actress, poet, and a multi-award-winning artist. She began writing at the age of 16, and started her acting career in 2006 in Gqeberha. She has written nine theatre productions, and two isiXhosa drama books, one of which is included in the Grade 10 isiXhosa Language curriculum nationwide (Hamba Nam Ndipheleke). This was also staged at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town. The second book, IMIDA, is being referenced at Boston University (USA) by Prof Zoliswa Mali, the lecturer directing the African Languages Programme at the University. The sequel to Hamba Nam Ndipheleke is expected to hit shelves soon. Mrs Buzani has a number of accolades including the Nompumezo Buzani Literary Award, Women in Literature Award, Living Legend Award, and Isakhono Award Fellow to name just a few. She also appeared in a Mzansi Magic Telenovela: Gqeberha the Empire, where she portrayed a character named Cebisa Njoloza 'Makhulu kaNana'.
Mongezi Ncwadi
Mr Mongezi Ncwadi was born and bred in New Brighton. After being trained by theatre legends Mam N. Nkonyeni, Dr Winston Ntshona and Dr John Kani, he joined a local theatre group called Non-Stop Entertainment. Mongezi has featured in many theatre productions, including "Cracked Mirror", "Hungry Road", and "It's Not Me", and received awards like Best Director, Best Script and Best Production. He also featured in a Lara Foot production, "Ukutshonaka Mendi", which had a successful run at the Baxter Theatre And Market Theatre. Mr Ncwadi is an all round creative who has been dedicated and devoted to keep the culture of Theatre and street-theatre.He also appeared in a Mzansi MagicTelenovela: Gqeberha the Empire, portraying the character of a Sangom.
Sigqibo Kutase
Sigqibo Kutase is a multi-talented actor, who has portrayed characters in numerous plays, films, and soapies.He also featured in the most watched telenovela in South
Africa, namely Scandal, where he portrayed "Eric". He furthered his acting career by acquiring a Diploma in Performing Arts at Stage World Theatre College and a HigherCertificate in Performing Arts at Trinity College. He started acting in a number of theatre shows, including Buzani Kubawo, Papama, The Island, The Melting Pot, and A View from the Bridge.Mr Kutase is a well-oiled machine in the performing arts where he exudes presence on stage and captures the audience with his acting skills.
Zikhona Mgoqi
Ms Zikhona Mgoqi is a well known artist in the industry and who has acted in various stage productions, as well as in independent films. She also works in costume and production design. She has written her own screenplay where she portrays 5 characters, a project that was funded by ECPACC to create the 4th Industrial Revolution Project. The stage productions that she appeared on are UNandipha, Tastes Like Poetry, Isibeleko Esinye, Stones In a whirlwind, and Instomika Nombongo to name a few.
Belinda Hambaze
Belinda Hambaze, is a vocalist and actress who hails from the busy townships of New Brighton, Gqebera in the Eastern Cape. As a young girl she sang in the church choir and formed a cappella groups. Belinda is an ambitious woman with pride and self-esteem which comes through in her performances. In 2015 she joined Mojo Entertainment which honed her skills as a dancer. She is still part of the organisation, and supports young children who are walking on the same path she took many years ago. As an actress she has worked with a variety of directors and playwrights. Dr Nomgqibelo and the Other Women is a play written by N. Buzani and directed by X. Zweni, Isikhalo the Outcry, is a short film by AFDA honours students, Buzani ku Bawo and Nkonyeni Foundation are both works of the late Nomhle Nkonyeni and play and documentary respectively. All these works have fine tuned Belinda’s artistry in a variety of ways.
Khanya Buzani
Ms Khanya Buzani’s creative interests ignited in primary school when she was awarded a bursary for Music at EduColleg. There she started learning instruments and took voice classes. Her acting journey began in 2011 when she was part of a play by Mr Simphiwe Vikilahle. Her excellent performances in the productions she has featured in continue to awe audiences. Her latest production (written by N.Buzani) "IGOBEL'SANDLENI" received a nomination for the Fringe Standard Bank Ovation Award. Her unique acting skills continue to reach new heights in each production she is part of.
Simbulele Zako
Ms Zako is an upcoming actress who has had a passion for film and theatre since she was young. She began her career as an influencer before getting a gig on a local film project where she was a starting actress. She has also featured in stage plays. Her acting skills are phenomenal.
