This musical theatre narrates the cultural history of Batswana and honours their spirituality, beliefs and cultural practices.

 

It journeys into the past from the great Ancestor of Batswana, Lowe, in search of 'the seed of birth of mankind' which is botho / ubuntu without which we can see no progress and identity as a nation.

 

Lowe's children journey through the history of the lands of origin of Batswana from the Great Lakes, Mosioathunya (Victoria Falls), Katimamolelo (Caprivi Strip), Boroste (Zambia) to Kgalagadi, Kaditswhene and Dithakong, amongst others to places of significance to the civilization of Batswana. It is a story told in narration, dance, poetry and song encompassing various Setswana and Khoisan (Xu and Khwe) dances as well as contemporary.
