


Knock-Out is an Edu-therapeutic play set in Skhalloville location. It revolves around a young South African ring fighter, Mafatshe Matlala, AKA Ten-Ten, who returns triumphantly from the World Youth tournament. However, his prestigious career ends miserably due to unforeseen life pressures unfolding around him, and eventually, he loses his title.
Knock-Out is a poignant musical play harnessed with didactic scene moments, physical theatre, and choreo-poetry.

About the Artists
Director and Script Writer: Blessing "AcaJoe" Nkabinde is an award-winning producer, director, writer, and extracurricular arts coach for Tshwane University of Technology. He has served in the Arts industry for almost 3 decades. He's contributed to the learning of many young South Africans, mainly TUT students, and several of his shows have played at National Arts Festival over the years, including Ghost Town, Bad Girls, Across the Bridge, and others. AcaJoe is also an actor and the facilitator for the Department of Sports and Arts and Culture of Recreation.
Mushe Mkhari is a South African actor, director, and award-winning screenplay writer, known for his powerful storytelling and cultural authenticity. Born in 1997 in the village of Lulekani, Phalaborwa, Limpopo Province, Mushe has emerged as a dynamic voice in the creative arts. He is the recipient of a prestigious writing award from the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture.
Mushe is the Managing Director of Neavan Group of Companies and TSM Films, through which he champions local talent and content development. He is currently working on the telenovela "Anga na Vusiwana", a project that reflects his deep commitment to socially relevant narratives.
An academic as well as an artist, Mushe holds a Diploma in Language Practice from Tshwane University of Technology, where he is currently pursuing his Advanced Diploma in the same field.
Arnold Lesetja Monyepao is a passionate actor, writer, and radio drama creator from Seshego, Polokwane. He began his journey with Get Down Productions in high school and earned recognition for his role in the award-winning stage play Ke Mang?, winning Best Supporting Character. Named Actor of the Year at M.E. Makgato Secondary School, Arnold also writes compelling radio dramas. Off the stage, he is a dedicated soccer coach and former player, blending creativity with leadership in both the arts and sports.
Kelebogile Oratilwe Moatshe is a first-year Education student at the Tshwane University of Technology, originally from Mothotlung, Brits in the North West. He recently won the North West Provincial title at the SACE competition and has been involved in several short film projects. With a strong passion for storytelling and the arts, Kelebogile uses creative expression to inspire, educate, and uplift his community.
