Listen and Hear is a powerful multidisciplinary production that addresses the African Union's Agenda 2030 through the tragic story of a young girl named Toro, who dies on New Year's Eve from cold, hunger, and poverty.
Left abandoned on the streets of Langa, Cape Town, in an unprecedented snowstorm, her dreams are woven into the narrative as she silently wishes for a better life. Set against the stark beauty of Table Mountain, the production reflects on the deep social and environmental disparities affecting African communities, calling for urgent attention to the dreams of those left behind in the struggle for survival.
