What happens when a child loses someone they love; a parent, guardian, caregiver, a grandparent, friend? What about a pet? Many families and cultures have their own ways of dealing with grief. But often, children are left on the edges of these conversations, unsure of what’s happening or how to feel. Serurubele/ Butterfly Heart is a heartfelt performance that opens a safer, thoughtful space for children and adults to begin talking about death, grief, and healing. With sensitivity, creativity, and warmth, it encourages us to find courage for life’s most difficult moments. This story doesn't offer the answers. Instead, it offers a moment to pause, reflect, and connect. Because even in the midst of loss, we can find comfort in each other, and in the stories we share.
