


This Children's Theatre/ Family Fare performance aims to leave little ones' curiousity sparked about the creation of day and night, and how working together, especially as siblings can bring positive results and happiness to parents.

About the Artists
Mashupe Phala is a playright and director who has been bringing top notch theatre productions to the National Arts Festival since 2004. His shows have travelled across the entire country and been performed in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. In the month of July he will be staging another production in Maputo as part of the Theatre Renaissance Cabaret. After working with Assitej SA as part of the Arts4Youth program, Mashupe brings his first ever children's production to the National Arts Festival. As a Graduate of Wits University and Rhodes University, Mashupe works with MID Mophatong Graduate Charity Sehlapelo for dance moves, Thabang Ramabu on musical direction and a team of young, enthusiastic cast members from Polokwane in Limpopo, to bring Light and Darkness to life.
