The Playroom
StoryHouse and Projects
Theatre for Children & Young People / Family Fare / Glennie Hall

The PLAYROOM is a heartfelt tale about a 12-year-old boy grappling with learning difficulties that have caused him to struggle at school. Frustrated by his inability to concentrate during lessons and bored by traditional teaching methods, he's been labelled a special needs student requiring individual attention. Despite his potential, he's trapped in a cycle of academic failure, leading to a rebellious and disruptive attitude both at school and at home. The PLAYROOM is a touching narrative of determination, family support, and the transformative power of unconventional education, proving that every child has the potential to shine when given the right tools and environment to learn.
