Qaqamba reimagines the tale the world knows as Cinderella, to tell a story of a young girl named Qaqamba. Qaqamba has a spiritual calling, and is a fantastic dancer and singer. She lives with her aunt Nokwanda, a woman who carries a deep grudge against her late sister, who she believes stole her husband. Qaqamba now ruthlessly pays for it. She struggles through, in search of a life filled with joy and peace. Perhaps the cure prince could be her doorway.
