Isaac Ezaiah Sithole - Director
Isaac Ezaiah Sithole is a prominent Artistic Director based in Sharpeville, specialising in theatre making. As a writer, director, and actor, he has dedicated his career to the performing arts, bringing stories to life on stage. His passion extends to puppetry, where he excels as a puppet maker and puppeteer, collaborating with renowned giant puppet companies such as The Giant Match, SAguru, and Les Grandes Personnes.
Isaac has created numerous impactful stage plays, with "Dikakapa" achieving notable recognition by being nominated in four categories at the Naledi Theatre Awards and winning the Market Theatre Zwakala Community Theatre Festival. His exceptional talent has also earned him several Standard Bank Ovation Awards, including a Blue Ovation for "Dikakapa," a Bronze Ovation for "Kgetho," and a Silver Ovation for "Selekane."
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Isaac is a passionate visual arts and theatre facilitator, committed to educating and inspiring all generations in his community about the importance of theatre and the love of storytelling. His unwavering dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a creative environment continues to enrich the cultural landscape of Sharpeville and beyond.
Tumelo Mduduzi Mdabuli
Tumelo Mduduzi Mdabuli, a 25-year-old male theatre maker, music composer, choreographer, and facilitator for the performing arts, has made significant strides in the creative arts landscape. Tumelo began his artistic journey with Generation of Stars, where he honed his skills and developed a deep passion for the performing arts.
His dedication and talent have led him to showcase his work at various prestigious platforms, including the Ishashalazi Festival, Zwakala Festival, and the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, as well as the Vaal Theatre Week. Each of these experiences has enriched his artistic repertoire and expanded his influence within the arts community.
Currently serving as the Artistic Director of Talent Ignition Arts Academy, Tumelo is committed to nurturing emerging talent and fostering a vibrant arts culture. His visionary approach and dedication to the arts reflect his belief in the transformative power of creativity and performance.
With an unwavering passion for the arts, Tumelo Mduduzi Mdabuli continues to inspire those around him, making a lasting impact on the performing arts scene.
Teboho Serapelo
Teboho Serapelo is a Theatre Director, Writer and Performer, and his passion lies in nurturing young talent and creating new works. Most of the actors in “Mollo” were discovered, developed and mentored by him. Teboho is a Market Theatre Lab alumni and Duma ka Ndlovu Academy Alumni. His passion for community Youth Development through arts has earned him a place in Youth Life where he serves as a Provincial servant support.
Teboho was awarded the Best Director and Best Writer at Soweto Theatre and Hillbrow Theatre for his show, Where are we going? The show was also awarded the Best Production, Best Musical and Best Ensemble. He recently took part in the 016 FM Series on Showmax as an actor and provided background actors through his prominent role in Community Youth Development through his organisation. His latest involvement as an actor is a role he played as “Rush Cash/Cash No Deposit” in a Netflix film titled: Blind Love/ Ululwane.
